Departure from Morogoro Town

The safari begins with an early morning departure from Morogoro town toward Mikumi National Park. Along the journey, travelers will enjoy views of local villages, mountains, and the beautiful countryside landscapes of Tanzania. Upon arrival at the main gate, registration procedures will be completed before entering the park for the safari experience.

Morning Game Drive in Mikumi National Park

After entering the park, the adventure continues with a game drive through different wildlife areas of Mikumi National Park. Visitors will have opportunities to spot a variety of wild animals including Elephants, Lions, Giraffes, Zebras, Buffaloes, Antelopes, Wildebeests, Hippos, and possibly Leopard. The park’s open grasslands provide excellent opportunities for wildlife photography and close observation of animals in their natural habitat.

Picnic Lunch Inside the Park

Guests will enjoy a relaxing picnic lunch at a designated public picnic site inside the park surrounded by nature and beautiful scenery. This break gives travelers time to rest, refresh, and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere of the national park while listening to sounds of birds and wildlife nearby.

Afternoon Game Drive

After lunch, the safari continues with another game drive to explore more areas of the park and increase chances of seeing additional wildlife species. Mikumi National Park is also known for its rich Birdlife and stunning landscapes, making the afternoon drive enjoyable for both wildlife lovers and nature enthusiasts.

Return to Morogoro Town

Following the afternoon safari activities, travelers will exit the park and begin the journey back to Morogoro town. The trip concludes with drop-off at the agreed location in Morogoro, marking the end of a memorable one-day safari experience in Mikumi National Park.
